What is BPAY?

BPAY is a service which enables individuals to pay billing organisations, who partake with the BPAY service. Individuals are able to pay bills to their corresponding organisations simply over the telephone or by Internet.   Just check your bill for the Bpay symbol – there are over 12,000 billers with the BPAY facility, so most household bills can be paid this way.

A great advantage of using BPAY is the reducing unnecessary extra the time spent on paying those tiresome bills. Say goodbye to long queues and being transferred multiple times during a phone call! With BPAY, bills can be paid simply on the internet or over the phone in one go.

Instead of having to dial a different phone number for each bill, you only dial Family First or if you’re using BPAY on the Internet, all your bills can be paid via our website, meaning there’s no need for multiple searches.

With BPAY you can pay any number of bills in a single hit. Whether you chose to access BPAY by phone or Internet, having to pay your bills by one port of contact is a time-saver!

You also get the convenience of paying your bills whenever it suits you. BPAY is available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day!

To pay with BPAY simply follow these step:

  • Register for internet or phone banking with Family First Credit Union, if you haven’t already.
  • Look for the BPAY logo on your bills.  Log onto Internet banking site or call 1300 369 900.
  • Select the BPAY option and select which account you want the funds to come from, then follow the simple instructions.
  • Record your receipt number. This number will show on your account statement.

Alternately you may also choose to make a payment at our offices, you may do this at any branch of Family First Credit Union, and you will need to bring the bills that you wish to pay with you.
It’s very straightforward, and if you make a mistake it’s easy to go back and make corrections, prior to confirming your payment. However, once  approved, the payment is irrevocable.
