A Family First Credit Union Visa Debit Card will give you the convenience of using your own funds with the option of using your card as if it were a credit card. As well, you may apply to have an optional overdraft linked to your Visa, giving you the convenience of having cash on hand if the funds in your Access Account have been exhausted. Your card is attached to any transactional account giving you control over your own money.
A Family First Visa gives you Australia and worldwide access 24 hours, 7-day access to thousands of ATMs and EFTPOS around Australia and throughout the world.
Make remote purchases or pay bills, either by phone, by Bpay or over the worldwide internet by again using your Visa as if it were a credit, not a debit, card.
With your Family First Visa Access card you can save money on transactions fees, and have the convenience of paying bills using your visa or via Bpay. A monthly fee of $2 per membership applies to the card and no approval is needed (unless overdraft required).
Select the ‘Credit’ option when using your VISA Debit Card and pay no Credit Union transaction fees - the funds must be in your account as it is debited immediately (you will need to sign the transaction docket not use your PIN)

Our Visa Debit Card is attached to any Transactional Account. You can use your card to access your own savings thereby incurring no interest charges or we can arrange an overdraft facility to be attached to your account to enable you to make purchases on credit.
