PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE UPCOMING CHANGES TO THE WAY OUR MEMBERS CAN TRANSACT THROUGH ATMS
Family First Credit Union is currently part of the one of Australia's largest ATM networks, the rediATM network, which gives our members access to over 3,000 rediATM's Australia-wide. In September 2017, an unprecedented move was made by all 4 major banks in that they withdrew the Direct Charge from their entire ATM network. Due to this move, Family First Credit Union has submitted a request to withdraw from the rediATM scheme effective from 31 December 2018. As of now, all Family First Credit Union members are able to transact at over 10,000 Direct Charge Free ATMs Australia wide.
Withdrawing from the rediATM scheme has the following impacts on Family First Credit Union members:
(a) rediATMs will be removed from our branch locations at Bathurst, Lithgow and Mudgee (see below for further detals)
(b) transactions performed at remaining rediATMs after 31 December 2018 may incur a Direct Charge Fee
(c) Effective from 1 January 2018 you will no longer be able to change your PIN at a rediATM however you will still be able to change your PIN in branch
To avoid the Direct Charge going forward we strongly encourage that all Family First Credit Union cardholders transact at ATMs owned by the major banks (CBA, Westpac, ANZ and NAB) as these are Direct Charge free. There are over 10,000 direct charge free ATMs Australia wide (please note that ATM transaction charges apply as normal).
